Resealable packaging for repeated access
Zip-lock, ziplock, zipper and resealable bags describe formats that open and close repeatedly while helping organise, protect and display the packed product. Common applications include food ingredients, samples, garments, jewellery, spare parts, documents, electronics and fulfilment kits.
Choose the closure first
Press-to-close zipper
Interlocking profiles are pressed together by hand. Buyers should confirm opening force, closing feel, profile alignment and whether the bag will be opened while wearing gloves.
Slider bags
A slider travels across the zipper profile and can improve ease of use for larger bags or frequent access. Confirm slider retention, end stops, filling method and packing-line compatibility.
Dimensions that avoid surprises
State usable inside width and length, not only total cut size. Confirm zipper position, lip extension, header, wicket holes, bottom fill or top fill, gusset and seal allowances. Send a sample when the product fit is critical.
Film and performance
- LDPE or LLDPE blend selected for clarity, softness, toughness and sealing
- Custom micron based on load, edges, handling and reuse cycles
- Natural, tinted or opaque film
- Food-contact documentation for the exact resin and intended use where required
- Vent holes, write-on panels or tamper-evident features by specification
Printing and presentation
Artwork planning should define colours, print sides, repeat, registration tolerance, barcode requirements and the no-print area around the zipper and seals. Flexographic printing can suit many bag runs; gravure may be evaluated for long, repeatable, high-quality work.
RFQ checklist
- Inside width × usable length
- Thickness in micron
- Press-to-close or slider closure
- Product and packed weight
- Printing, colour and artwork
- Quantity, delivery city and deadline
