Testing is meaningful only when dimensions, thickness, material, tolerance and intended application are defined. Typical checks may include width and length, thickness readings, weight per piece, seal appearance, visual defects and practical loading tests.
Production versus laboratory tests
Routine factory checks and formal standardised laboratory tests are not the same. The quotation or quality plan should state which checks and documents are required.
