How the estimate works
The calculator converts inch dimensions to millimetres, applies micron per layer, layer count and the selected material density to estimate material per bag. Production tolerance, resin blend, gussets, seals and printing can affect the final result.
What information should be confirmed?
- Whether the dimensions are finished bag dimensions or film width.
- Whether the micron is single-layer or double-layer thickness.
- Whether gusset and seal allowances are included.
- Whether the quotation is compared per kilogram or per piece.
