How the estimate works
The calculator uses width, length, micron and layer count to estimate material per bag. Use double-layer thickness for a finished bag where both sides are included. Production tolerance, material density, gussets and seal allowance can affect the final result.
What information should be confirmed?
- Whether the dimensions are finished bag dimensions or film width.
- Whether the micron is single-layer or double-layer thickness.
- Whether gusset and seal allowances are included.
- Whether the quotation is compared per kilogram or per piece.
